NTT Data are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a high performing technical services team responsible for supporting and enhancing a large scale enterprise infrastructure environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on cloud infrastructure specialist who enjoys working across Azure, server technologies, automation, and enterprise scale infrastructure. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting highly available cloud and on-premises environments, helping to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing services.

About the Role

As the Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, operation, and optimisation of enterprise server infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Working within a collaborative technical team, you'll help maintain critical infrastructure platforms, drive automation initiatives, support infrastructure modernisation, and contribute to the ongoing reliability and performance of complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build and support Azure-based infrastructure solutions
- Maintain highly available and resilient server environments across cloud and on-premises platforms
- Manage and optimise Windows and Linux server infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Implement and enhance infrastructure automation capabilities
- Monitor,



troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across the organisation
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
- Participate in an on-call support roster when required

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- 5+ years' experience supporting large-scale enterprise server environments
- Strong Azure infrastructure and cloud operations experience
- Broad infrastructure knowledge across servers, networking, storage and databases
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, GitHub or other version control platforms
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux
- Experience managing both physical and virtual server environments
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies
- Understanding of JSON, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Robust communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
