We’re looking for a hospitality legend with up to five years’ experience to join our team and help supervise and support our valued workers — people with cognitive disabilities who are developing their skills, confidence and independence in the workplace.
Our coffee shop is a little different. Alongside serving great coffee and fresh food, we provide meaningful employment opportunities and help our workers build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
You’ll be part of a supportive supervisory team, helping our workers learn workplace routines, follow procedures, deliver great customer service and take pride in their work.

- 24–36 hours per week
- Monday to Saturday trading, 7:30am–4:00pm
- Initially offered as a casual position
- Opportunity to move to permanent part-time or full-time employment after a successful three-month probation period
- Ideal for someone with up to five years’ hospitality experience who enjoys working with people, leading by example and making a genuine difference
About you
- Strong barista skills and commitment to maintaining high standards of coffee and food
- Strong self-awareness and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively manage stress and navigate challenging situations
- Experience in supervising others and fostering an inclusive culture
- Flexibility, organisation, and a love for the hospitality buzz
- Community-minded with a commitment to equity and kindness
- Experience working with people with disabilities is highly regarded but not essential
