The opportunity

We're looking for an APS6 DevOps Engineer to uplift CI/CD, automation and observability across enterprise platforms. You'll work in a modern delivery environment where reliability, deployment quality, and fast feedback loops matter-supporting teams to release safely and consistently.

What you'll do (DevOps focus)
n
n
- Build, improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build/test/deploy) with a focus on reliability and repeatability
n
- Drive deployment automation and reduce manual release overhead
n
- Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards and operational metrics (performance, availability, user metrics)
n
- Troubleshoot pipeline and workplace issues; improve incident resolution through better tooling and automation
n
- Develop scripts/tools to streamline engineering workflows and reduce operational toil
n
- Support API delivery and integration with engineering tooling (GitLab)
n
n
Must-have skills
n
n
- Solid hands-on experience with GitLab including GitLab CI/CD in an enterprise environment (pipelines, runners, build/deploy, monitoring)
n
- Strong DevOps capability across CI/CD, automation, deployment, monitoring/observability
n
- Commercial experience with Node.js + TypeScript
n
- Python experience (automation/scripting and/or backend)
n
- Experience with Jira and modern developer tooling (e.g., VS Code)
n
- Clear communicator-able to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
n

Nice to have
n

- GitLab pipeline optimisation and governance (templates, reusable components, quality gates)
n
- Experience with advanced automation approaches (e.g., intelligent CI/CD workflows)
