The role is part of a high-performing analytics engineering function that brings together strong software engineering and world-class data science. The focus is firmly on productionising, scaling and operating ML solutions, using modern cloud-native tooling and agile ways of working to solve complex, high-impact problems.

Hybrid | 3 days in office/week

Salary: $160k Base + Super + Bonus
n
What You'll Do:
n
n
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain advanced analytics and machine learning solutions in a cloud-native environment
n
- Build and operate end-to-end ML pipelines, including data pipelines, feature engineering, model deployment and API endpoints
n
- Take primary ownership for productionising ML solutions developed in partnership with data scientists
n
- Develop scalable, reliable batch and streaming solutions to support a wide range of business use cases
n
- Build ML-backed services and APIs using Python (including frameworks such as FastAPI)
n
- Collaborate closely with ML engineers, data engineers and data scientists in multidisciplinary, agile teams
n
- Contribute to architecture and solution design, clearly communicating trade-offs and recommendations
n
- Apply appropriate testing frameworks and engineering standards to ensure robustness, performance and reliability
n
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling and ways of working to improve time-to-market and system quality
n

What You'll Bring:
n
n
- Strong experience working on production ML systems
n
- A problem‐solving mindset with the ability to break down ambiguous, complex challenges into practical solutions
n
- Solid commercial software engineering experience, with advanced Python skills and strong foundations in system design
n
- Hands‐on experience building and operating ML pipelines (e.g. managed ML platforms or custom orchestration solutions)
n
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful or gRPC APIs
n
- Proven background building reliable, high-throughput batch and/or streaming systems
n
- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern CI/CD pipelines
n
- Familiarity with real-time or NoSQL data stores
n
- Exposure to containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
n
- Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
