I'm currently working with a well-established residential construction business known for delivering quality projects across Melbourne. With a steady pipeline of work and a reputation for strong delivery, they provide a supportive and well-structured environment for experienced construction professionals.

About the Role

n

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Residential & Retirement Living to oversee the delivery of residential projects, including medium-density and retirement living developments.

n

You'll be responsible for managing multiple sites, leading site teams, and ensuring each project is delivered to a high standard on time, within budget, and with a strong focus on quality and safety.

n

This is also a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager ready to take the next step into a broader, leadership focused role.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee and coordinate multiple residential and retirement living construction projects
n
- Manage site-based teams and subcontractors across various locations
n
- Maintain project timelines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary targets
n
- Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders
n




- Ensure strong compliance with safety procedures and site documentation
n
- Report on project status, challenges, and progress to senior management
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 5-10 yrs experience in a senior construction role within residential building
n
- Previous involvement in retirement village or seniors living projects is highly regarded
n
- Solid leadership, planning, and communication skills
n
- Sound knowledge of trade sequencing, build quality, and site safety
n
- White Card, valid driver's licence, and relevant qualifications
n
- A proactive and organised approach to construction management
n
