The Opportunity
n
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical care and leadership across the home, working closely with residents, families, care staff, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.
n
You will be supported by an experienced management and clinical team and will have the opportunity to further develop your aged care knowledge and leadership capabilities.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
- Deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care
n
- Complete resident assessments and develop individualised care plans
n
- Administer medications and oversee medication management
n
- Identify and respond to changes in residents' health and wellbeing
n
- Maintain accurate, factual and timely clinical documentation
n
- Provide guidance and clinical support to care staff
n
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals
n
- Manage incidents, clinical risks and appropriate escalation
n
- Support compliance with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
n
- Contribute to audits, continuous improvement and clinical governance activities
n

About You
n
To be considered, you will have:
n
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Previous residential aged care experience in Australia (2 years minimum)
n
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
n
- Sound knowledge of medication management and clinical documentation
n
- An understanding of aged care quality standards and clinical governance
n
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
n
- The ability to support and guide care staff
n
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
n
- Current Australian working rights
n
