About the role

n

Working alongside our Chef and kitchen team, you'll help deliver delicious, nutritious meals and exceptional service that enhances our residents' quality of life.

n

No two days are the same! Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Preparing, plating and serving meals and refreshments
n
- Delivering meals to residents with warmth, care and a friendly smile
n
- Assisting with menu implementation to meet residents' preferences
n
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and infection control
n
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas
n
- Monitoring and recording food safety requirements, including temperatures and stock receipting
n
- Working collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure every resident enjoys a positive dining experience
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement and quality food services
n

About you

n





You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering great service, and understands the key role food plays in residents' wellbeing.

n

You'll also have:

n

n
- A Food Handling Certificate (or equivalent)
n
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Experience in hospitality, catering or food services
n
- Previous aged care experience (highly regarded but not essential)
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
n
- A commitment to safe food handling and high-quality customer service
n
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster
n
