Store Manager – Sale | 6-Month Maternity Leave Contract.

We're looking for an experienced retail leader to take ownership of our Sale store and lead a small, hands‑on team.

This is a temporary 6-month maternity leave position, providing an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager or retail leader to step into a well‑established store and make a real impact.

While the initial position is for 6 months, there is potential for the role to lead to a permanent position with Pets Domain for the right person, subject to business requirements and performance.

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of your store — from developing your team and delivering great customer experiences to driving sales, managing stock and maintaining high operational standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing people and taking ownership of results.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop your team to achieve great results
- Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance
- Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising and store presentation
- Manage rostering, wages, stock,



inventory and day‑to‑day store operations
- Build solid relationships with customers and the local community

About you

- Previous retail management or strong retail leadership experience
- Confidence leading, coaching and developing a team
- A good understanding of KPIs, budgets, wages and stock management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A hands‑on approach and the ability to take ownership of store performance
