The Spinifex is an iconic hotel in the Kimberley. The “Spini” is a jewel in the crown of WA’s top end.

The Hotel provides guests with a range of facilities including a full bar, restaurant, and TAB, plus brand new motel style accommodation, swimming pool, BBQ’s, and a conference room.

There are many reasons for visiting Derby on business or for pleasure. For instance, the town serves as a regional administrative and supply centre. However, most visitors are more interested in the Buccaneer Archipelago, Horizontal Waterfall, boab trees, the Gibb River Road, Windjana Gorge National Park, Tunnel Creek, Wharfinger’s House Museum… And the list goes on.

We are currently recruiting for a Bottle shop Manager to run our busy bottleshop. Previous experience in the liquor industry is essential.

- Assist in the store’s daily operations, including opening & closing procedures.
- Manage stock levels, product range, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Implement promotions to improve store performance.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and WHS requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases,



and financial transactions.

Essential Criteria

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar management role in the Liquor industry.
- Proven ability to drive sales and improve store performance.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management and stock control, and a sound knowledge of liquor products, including beer, wine, spirits and other alcoholic beverages, together with an understanding of liquor retail operations and customer preferences.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Sound understanding of retail POS systems
- High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and multitasking capability.
- Willingness to work across wide-ranging shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work independently.

Other Requirements

- Hold and maintain a WA RSA Certification (Essential)
- Full working rights in Australia (citizens, permanent residents, and eligible visa holders welcome to apply).
- Communicate effectively in English (Essential)

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
