My client is looking for an experienced professional within the plumbing supplies industry who is wanting to utilise their experience and industry knowledge to join one of their leading performing branches.

Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this is primarily a branch management role, with responsibility for the people, customers, sales and day-to-day performance of the branch. Alongside this, you’ll have the opportunity to get out into the market and build relationships with key SME customers, helping drive new business and strengthen the branch’s position locally.

You’ll be joining an established business with a strong customer base, but there is plenty of opportunity to grow the branch further.

The Role

- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the branch
- Lead, manage and develop the branch team
- Maintain high levels of customer service and operational standards
- Manage branch sales, revenue, margins and overall profitability
- Build strong relationships with existing trade customers
- Identify opportunities to grow the SME customer base
- Get out into the market to meet plumbers, builders, contractors and other local businesses
- Develop new accounts and strengthen relationships with key customers
- Manage quotes, pricing and commercial negotiations
- Work closely with senior management to identify opportunities for branch growth





What They're Looking For You’ll ideally have previous experience managing a branch, 2IC and have external sales experience as well.

You’ll need to be commercially minded and comfortable leading a team, managing customers and taking ownership of branch performance.

The ideal person will be:

- An experienced Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager or senior sales professional ready to step up
- Confident leading and developing a team
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of sales and margins
- Experienced dealing with trade customers and SME business owners
- Comfortable getting out from behind the desk when required to develop relationships
- Well organised and capable of managing a busy branch environment
- Motivated by growth, customer relationships and achieving results

- Base Salary of $110k - $110k
- Super at 12%
