Business Analyst — Multiple Roles

These positions sit within the Business Analysis Chapter in the Tech Architecture & Emerging Technology division, reporting to the Business Analysis Team Lead.

About the Roles

Aligned with HBF’s growth ambitions, we have multiple 12-month and permanent opportunities available in Perth within our Business Analysis Chapter, supporting key growth initiatives across Member Engagement and Customer Relationship Management.

In these roles, you will work as part of cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with Product Owners and team members to understand business needs, manage backlog, and deliver high-quality business analysis artefacts.

These positions will partner closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical team members to capture clear requirements, support solution design, and enable effective delivery across priority business initiatives.

We’re seeking curious, member-focused Business Analysts to help enhance HBF’s member engagement platforms, supporting the delivery of exceptional member service and improved sales performance.

These roles will support either our Salesforce powered Customer Relationship Management platforms, or our Member Engagement initiatives, where your marketing insight and customer focused thinking will come to the fore. You’ll help deliver streamlined processes and customer journeys, support risk aligned operations, and promote strong data quality.

Where You'll Contribute

You’ll join a dynamic, cross-functional team where your expertise as a Business Analyst will add immediate value. Your responsibilities will include:

- Engaging with business stakeholders to understand current pain points and future aspirations





- Capturing business requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria, while identifying opportunities to streamline outcomes through emerging technologies

- Working with technical team members to communicate requirements and support solution design, defect identification, and analysis

- Mapping current and future-state processes to support effective solution design

- Supporting backlog refinement, estimation and prioritisation within Agile ways of working

- Bridging business and technical language to ensure shared understanding and alignment

In this role, you’ll act as a key translator, making complex concepts clear and actionable across the organisation.

Let's Talk About You

You are a seasoned Business Analyst with experience working with Agile delivery teams.

You can navigate stakeholder needs, lead workshops confidently, and apply robust attention to detail. You are collaborative, delivery focused and demonstrate positive professional behaviours. You thrive in fast paced, ambiguous environments and can prioritise effectively while maintaining quality.

Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in Jira and Confluence. You are skilled in user story decomposition, facilitating estimation sessions, and translating solution design diagrams into actionable technical stories.



You can absorb complex information, apply analytical thinking, and deliver transparent, practical problem-solving.

We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in traditional analysis techniques but also forward-thinking in the use of emerging technologies. An important part of this role is exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and uncover deeper insights from data.

You’ll bring curiosity about how AI can be applied across business functions and proactively identify opportunities where intelligent automation and machine learning can create value.
