Role: Business Development Executive
Location: Toorak, Melbourne, Australia
Work arrangement: Full-time, office based
Compensation: $70,000-$75,000 plus superannuation
You'll join an Australian-founded fintech that provides flexible funding solutions to help SMEs grow and has expanded across APAC and Europe. It's a scaling business with a strong lending track record and a people-first reputation.
You will need Australian work rights for this role, as sponsorship is not available.
What You'll Do
- Build and support broker relationships across the partner network, helping keep acquisition and servicing activity moving.
- Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective partners, with a strong focus on onboarding and engagement.
- Educate brokers on products, policies, platforms, and Partner Portal access so they can work confidently with the business.
- Coordinate in-person events, webinars, and virtual meetings to improve partner engagement.
- Keep CRM and internal systems accurate and up to date, while managing scheduling, communication, and compliance-related administration.
- Work closely with internal teams and help partner leads move smoothly through the sales process where needed.
Who We're Looking For
You'll likely suit this role if you enjoy being hands-on, organised, and confident dealing with partners while keeping the admin side tight.
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in a sales, administrative, or sales support role with some customer- or partner-facing responsibility
- Hands-on experience supporting partner or broker relationships, including outbound outreach, onboarding, or education
- Confidence using sales-focused CRM systems and maintaining accurate records and follow-up activity
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- An early-career to mid-level background in business development or sales support, with the ability to stay close to execution rather than pure strategy
Nice-To-Haves:
- Exposure to financial services, fintech, business lending, or SME lending
- Experience working in a fast-growing, target-driven business where pace and responsiveness matter
- Familiarity with broker-channel environments or partner-led sales models
