DEPUTY PRINCIPAL - Curriculum and Pastoral
(Year 7,9,11 or 8,10,12 – annual rotation)
Commencing: 1 January 2027
DETAILS:
The Deputy Principal – Curriculum & Pastoral Care as a member of the College Executive, is ultimately responsible for the curriculum and pastoral responsibilities for students in either Year 7,9,11 or 8,10,12 on an annual rotational basis. From a whole school perspective, they provide support to the Principal and the Executive Team to bring the College Vision and Mission to life, and to assist with the strategic leadership of the College.
As a senior leader, the Deputy Principal – Curriculum & Pastoral Care should be an excellent communicator who promotes collegiality and harmony amongst all members of staff. They must lead with humility, display integrity, and have the desire to journey on the pathway of continuous improvement.
A thorough understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum, along with contemporary approaches to transition into high school, learning and pastoral journey through high school and senior secondary pathways.
A warm, welcoming and friendly disposition with a strong sense of empathy and loyalty.
The proven ability to work with others, build trust and develop a strong sense of team with a shared vision.
Demonstrated capacity for self-directed work, taking initiative and excellent time management skills.
Have obtained or working towards Accreditation to Lead
Be an active member of the Catholic Church, while modelling and maintaining the Catholic ethos in the spirit of Maximilian Kolbe.
