Solicitor or Senior Associate to join the Project Finance team in Melbourne at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.

n

The Project Finance practice focuses on developing innovative project financing structures and working on high-profile energy and infrastructure deals in Australia and New Zealand, acting for both borrowers and banks.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Work closely with leading Partners on significant project, asset acquisition, renewable energy, and infrastructure financing transactions.
n
- Provide high-end advisory and transactional support across project finance matters.
n
- Develop client relationships and contribute to a market-leading practice within a team-oriented team.
n

Qualifications and Experience

n

n
- Unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate.
n
- 3+ years of legal experience.
n
- Experience in project finance from a leading top-tier, national or international private practice, or extensive general or structured finance experience from a leading private practice.
n
- Excellent academic record with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
n
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work to tight timeframes, both in a team and autonomously.
n
- Excellent communication skills and collegiality.
n
- Desire to learn, develop, and contribute to maintaining a market-leading practice.
