Estimator – Mid to Senior (Multiple Roles)

We're currently recruiting for multiple Mid to Senior level Estimators for a leading tier-one construction and infrastructure contractor specializing in large-scale building projects, complex facilities, and multidisciplinary infrastructure works.

n

Based in Sydney, these are 3-4 month (negotiable) contract roles, with potential for extension, working across tenders for Building, Construction, and Services across defence, health, infrastructure, and related industries.

n

Roles and Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for building or services scope
n
- Conduct quantity take-offs and review drawings and specifications
n
- Support development of construction methodologies and pricing strategies
n
- Maintain strong document control throughout the tender lifecycle
n
- Coordinate with project managers, bid teams, engineers and subcontractors
n
- Contribute to risk reviews, analysis and tender approval processes
n
- Assist in developing competitive, compliant and high-quality tender submissions
n
- Lead tender development and guide mid-level estimators (Senior-level)
n

Skills and Requirements

n

n
- Qualifications in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or related discipline (beneficial)
n
- Proven experience in building estimation (structural, architectural and finishes) or services estimation (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,



fire or specialist systems)
n
- Prior experience within infrastructure, building, defence, health, data centres, commercial or related sectors (highly beneficial)
n
- Proficiency in quantity take-off tools or cost estimation software
n
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
