Business Development Manager – Sponsorships & Exhibitions

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a talent for building relationships and closing high-value deals?

n

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic events business, driving sponsorship and exhibition sales across market-leading events.

n

What You'll Be Doing:

n

n
- Research and identify new business opportunities through proactive lead generation.
n
- Engage prospects with consultative, solution-focused sales conversations.
n
- Develop compelling, needs-based proposals and close sponsorship & exhibition deals.
n
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships, becoming a trusted advisor in your sector.
n
- Collaborate closely with event and conference teams to maximise client value and event success.
n
- Manage accounts from initial engagement through to on-site delivery and post-event follow-up.
n
- Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to connect, engage, and grow your network.
n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Proven track record in B2B sales – ideally within events, exhibitions, sponsorship, or media.
n
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to consistently exceed revenue targets.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Highly organised, self-motivated,



and proactive in driving opportunities.
n
- Skilled in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools.
n
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n
