The Opportunity

Join a leading Australian organisation in a commercially focused finance role supporting a major consumer portfolio.
You will provide financial insight across revenue, performance and profitability, partnering with senior stakeholders and teams across pricing, marketing, distribution, digital and operations.
This is an chance to influence commercial decisions and help shape revenue performance across a significant consumer business.

About the Role

Reporting into the Finance function, you will play a key role in analysing revenue performance, supporting forecasting and providing commercial guidance to senior leaders.
You will work across a broad range of business functions, using financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and risks and translate these into clear commercial recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver revenue reporting, analysis and insights across the consumer portfolio
- Partner with pricing, portfolio, marketing, distribution, digital and operational teams
- Analyse revenue trends, growth drivers and margin performance
- Monitor gross written premium and identify emerging performance trends
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processesPrepare meaningful financial insights for senior leadership and board reporting
- Translate complex financial and operational information into explicit recommendations




- Support and mentor team members, contributing to a high performing finance team

About You

You will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation.
Ideally, you will bring:

- Experience within financial services, with insurance experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of P&L; drivers and the relationship between operational performance and financial outcomes
- Proven commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills across finance and operational functions
- Experience working with large data sets, financial systems and forecasting models
- Previous experience mentoring or leading team members
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly
- Finance, Accounting or related qualifications, with CA or CPA highly regarded
