About the Company JD Ross has partnered with an internationally recognised energy storage and renewable energy solutions provider that is experiencing significant global growth and expanding its presence within the Australian market.

This is a unique opportunity to help establish and expand the organisation's market presence by developing strategic customer relationships, originating recent opportunities, and securing utility-scale energy storage projects. The successful candidate will work closely with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders to drive long-term growth and build a strong project pipeline across Australia.

About the Role:

- Develop and grow strategic relationships with renewable energy developers, utilities, gentailers, independent power producers (IPPs), EPC contractors, and technology partners.
- Identify, qualify, and originate new business opportunities across utility-scale battery energy storage projects.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, tender participation, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineering,



procurement, legal, grid, and delivery teams to develop commercially competitive and technically robust customer solutions.
- Monitor market, regulatory, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities and support strategic business expansion across Australia.

About You:

- 3-5+ years' experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of originating, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value opportunities within BESS, renewable energy, or related energy infrastructure markets.
- Strong understanding of utility-scale and/or C&I; energy storage projects, including EPC, OEM, or systems integration business models.
- Excellent commercial acumen with experience in pricing, business case development, margin management, and risk assessment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and translate technical solutions into compelling commercial outcomes.
