About the role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will lead people, operations and commercial performance while supporting broader branches, regions and divisions. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workforce setting, builds high-performing teams and delivers exceptional outcomes for clients, candidates and employees.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing, inclusive team
- Oversee recruitment delivery, workforce planning, mobilisation and rostering
- Drive operational excellence, compliance, WHS and service quality
- Build strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities
- Own branch commercial performance, including revenue, margins and forecasting
- Lead and support the National After Hours Team, including rostering and escalations
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to national initiatives across NW People
- Support workforce programs, including wage subsidy administration and compliance
About you
- 5+ years' experience in recruitment, labour hire, workforce management or a similar environment
- Proven people leadership and team development capability
- Strong business development, sales and client relationship skills
- Operational, compliance and workforce planning experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A leadership style built on fairness, authenticity, collaboration and accountability
- Experience with after-hours/24-7 operations, WHS, industrial relations, workforce technology or wage subsidy programs will be highly regarded
