We are seeking a candidate who is seeking a pathway to a Manager role.

What's involved

We are seeking an individual that is ready to take on a agile and evolving role as we embark on our next phase of growth. You will be involved with:

- Assisting with tax planning, including reviewing client structures and identifying tax-saving opportunities
- Assisting with the growth of our advisory services
- Preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entity types
- Preparing and reviewing Activity Statements
- Preparing FBT, Division 7A and Payroll Tax calculations and compliance
- Provide bookkeeping support when required, including Xero implementations
- Liaising with clients regarding their service requirements
- Liaising with government agencies and other external parties
- Ensuring all tasks are completed within the ATO lodgement program and internal deadlines




- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian taxation legislation

What it will take To be a part of our team, you will have:

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Completed or near-completed the CA or CPA
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a business services role
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with team and clients
- Ability to provide insights based on financial and non-financial information
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of tasks and complete work to a high standard
- Be a self-starter; goal driven and highly motivated
- Have experience in using Xero, Xero Tax, BGL Simple Fund 360, NowInfinity, MS Office suite

Remuneration will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
