Crusader Caravans is looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our production team.

We are seeking someone with hands-on electrical experience within the caravan manufacturing industry, ideally gained in a volume-production environment. This role will suit a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, understands the demands of production manufacturing, and enjoys working as part of a well-organised team.

About the Role

Working within our caravan production facility, you will be responsible for electrical installation, rough-in and fit-off across various stages of caravan manufacture.

This is a hands-on production role where quality, consistency, efficiency and attention to detail are equally important. You'll be working in a well-set-up manufacturing environment with established processes, production schedules and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- 12V electrical installation, wiring and fit-off
- 240V electrical installation and fit-off, where appropriately licensed/qualified
- Electrical rough-in of caravans during production
- Internal and external electrical fit-off
- Installation and connection of battery management systems
- Installation and connection of inverters, chargers and associated electrical equipment
- Installation of lighting, power outlets, appliances and accessories
- Solar and battery system installation
- Cable routing, termination and electrical component installation




- Testing, fault finding and rectification
- Reading and following wiring diagrams, specifications and work instructions
- Completing work within established production cycle times
- Working closely with other trades and production team members
- Identifying and resolving electrical issues before caravans progress to the next production stage
- Maintaining consistently high standards of workmanship and presentation

What We're Looking For We're not simply looking for someone who can wire a caravan. We want someone who understands production manufacturing and takes pride in getting the job done right, consistently and efficiently.

You'll enjoy this role if you like working in a structured, well-set-up production environment where expectations are clear and good workmanship is valued.

You should be comfortable balancing quality with production timeframes without taking shortcuts. You will be someone who can identify a problem, think through the solution and get on with the job while communicating effectively with the wider team.
