Job Description
At Ecolab, we're looking for a motivated and curious Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. In this role, you'll become a trusted business partner who helps guide supply chain decisions that impact customers, production planning and business performance.

About the Role
n
As a Demand Planner, you'll be responsible for analysing product demand, identifying trends and partnering with sales teams to develop accurate forecasts.
n
You'll take historical sales data,
system-generated forecasts and commercial insights and transform them into business recommendations that influence operational and strategic decisions across Ecolab.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Analyse sales and demand trends using Excel
n
- Build and maintain forecasting models and planning files
n
- Identify growth opportunities, demand variability and business risks
n
- Partner with sales teams to understand upcoming opportunities and market changes
n
- Challenge assumptions and ask insightful questions to improve forecast accuracy
n
- Update and maintain forecasts within planning systems
n
- Support monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) processes
n
- Present forecast changes and business insights to stakeholders
n
- Collaborate with supply chain, commercial and leadership teams to support business planning activities
n
n
What We're Looking For

We're specifically seeking someone who is eager to learn, confident working with data and excited by solving complex business challenges. Our successful candidate will likely have the following:

- Advanced Excel capability
n
- Experience using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs and other core Excel functions
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and relationship‐building abilities
n
- Ability to work confidently with a variety of stakeholders
n
- Curiosity and willingness to ask questions
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
