We're looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing Restructuring & Recovery team in Melbourne. This is an chance to work on a diverse range of corporate and personal insolvency engagements while leading, mentoring and developing talented professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Managing and coordinating corporate and personal insolvency engagements from commencement through to completion
n
- Providing specialist restructuring and insolvency advice to clients and colleagues across the firm
n
- Planning and allocating work across engagement teams, ensuring effective utilisation of resources
n
- Overseeing statutory compliance requirements and critical deadlines
n
- Applying a strong understanding of insolvency legislation, case law and regulatory obligations
n
- Managing asset realisations and stakeholder communications
n
- Conducting interviews with directors, bankrupts and other relevant stakeholders
n
- Liaising with financiers, legal advisors, agents and auctioneers
n
- Preparing and reviewing formal reports, correspondence and stakeholder communications
n
- Reviewing detailed financial analysis, investigations and reporting outputs
n
- Managing, coaching and developing junior team members
n
- Sharing technical expertise and industry insights across the team
n
- Identifying and resolving complex technical and commercial issues
n
- Contributing to business development initiatives and relationship management activities
n

About you
n
You're an experienced restructuring and insolvency qualified who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering practical outcomes for clients. With a strong technical foundation and a commercial mindset, you are comfortable managing a diverse portfolio of engagements while building trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.

Essential requirements
n
n
- Business, Commerce or Accounting degree or CA qualification (or equivalent), or a Law degree with a demonstrated interest in insolvency
n
- Completion of the ARITA Insolvency Education Program
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Professional Services, ideally in restructuring and insolvency
n
- Previous experience leading, mentoring and developing team members
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving abilities
n
- High attention to detail and commercial acumen
n
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
n
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
n
n
Desirable requirements

- Business development and client relationship management experience
n
- Established professional networks within the Melbourne market
