This is an urgent contract HR Business Partner role based in Melbourne, starting ASAP and running until mid-January 2027. This opportunity is a backfill for an existing team member who will be going on leave, so we're looking for someone who can step in, quickly get up to speed and provide continuity of support to the business.
The position is based in the South Melbourne office three days per week and will support NSW-based clients within an international organisation. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment, supporting a high-volume casual workforce and working confidently with a broad range of stakeholders and personalities.

Key Skills & Experience
- Solid HR generalist and Employee Relations (ER) experience
- Performance management and workplace investigations
- Experience supporting a high-volume casual workforce, ideally hospitality or similar
- Employment contracts, documentation and termination letters
- Onboarding, offboarding and complex rostering
- Workday and broader HRIS experience
- Strong focus on data integrity and accurate high-volume data entry
- Experience supporting or delivering HR programs
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills across varied personalities
- Cooperative and team-oriented, while comfortable working autonomously and able to hit the ground running

- Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office

- Christmas availability: Must be available to work over the Christmas period, excluding public holidays
