Our client is a well‑established Australian food manufacturing company specializing in the production of high‑quality food products supplied to customers across Australia.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Cook to join a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone with experience in commercial cooking, food production or a similar manufacturing setting.
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- $33.85 per hour + Super
- Ongoing casual position with a view to permanency
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food products according to recipes, batch specifications and production schedules.
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
- Operate and monitor cooking and production equipment.
- Monitor cooking temperatures, times and product quality.
- Complete quality checks and production records.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised production area.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitising equipment.
- Work with the production team to meet daily targets and requirements.
About You
- Previous experience in commercial cooking, food production or food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Comfortable working in a rapid‑paced, hands‑on production environment.
- Able to follow recipes, procedures and batch instructions accurately.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
