Tyrepower is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Campbelltown, NSW. This is a full-time position offering a rewarding career in the automotive trades industry. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to our valued customers. This position is based in office at our Campbelltown location, where you will work alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
- Repair and replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and braking systems
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality checks on completed work
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and maintenance performed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and service timelines
- Adhere to workplace health and safety standards and procedures at all times
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe in compliance with industry regulations
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics where applicable

What we're looking for

- Formal qualification in automotive mechanics or equivalent trade certification recognised in New South Wales
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands‑on experience as a qualified mechanic in a commercial automotive environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify complex mechanical issues




- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
- Knowledge of current vehicle makes and models, including both petrol and diesel engines
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach to service delivery
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to test drive vehicles as required
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varied positions, including standing, bending, and working at height
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with tyre and wheel services is highly desirable
