Due to growing demand, our client is looking for an experienced Carpenter or Fencing Installer to join their installation team.

The Role

Working directly out of our client's warehouse, you'll be part of a small crew heading out to residential and commercial sites to install PVC fence panels, picket fencing, privacy screens, and matching gates. This is hands-on outdoor trade work — no two days on site are the same.





Key Duties Include:

- Travel to customer sites to measure, set out, and install PVC fencing and gates
- Dig post holes and pour concrete footings to correct depth and spacing
- Set fence posts plumb and level, ensuring footings cure properly before load is applied
- Fit and align fence panels, pickets, and rails to manufacturer specifications
- Install matching pedestrian and sliding gates, including hardware and hinges
- Read and work from site plans and measurements
- Load and unload materials, and maintain company vehicles/trailers in good order
- Liaise professionally with customers on site
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements at all times
- Mentor apprentices or offsiders, where applicable

Key Requirements

- Trade background in carpentry, fencing, or a related building trade
- Proven experience installing fencing, decking, or similar outdoor structures
- Confident setting out and pouring concrete footings
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather
- Current driver's licence (manual highly regarded, as some vehicles are manual)
- White Card (construction induction card)
- Own hand tools; own vehicle to get to the warehouse a bonus but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
