Case Manager – Transitional Housing (Men’s Program)
Alice Springs, NT | Full Time | SCHADS Level 4

About the role
As a Case Manager, you will be part of a small, committed team supporting men living in transitional housing. Your days will be varied and meaningful. You will listen, guide, advocate and help participants take practical steps toward stability and independence.
You will build genuine relationships, create case plans together with participants and help them connect with services, community supports and opportunities that strengthen their future.
You will also work closely with the Team Leader and local agencies across the NT to ensure coordinated and culturally respectful care.
This is a full time, permanent role based in Alice Springs, with salary and conditions aligned to SCHADS Level 4.

- Support participants to work toward their goals with compassion, structure and encouragement
- Build trust through thoughtful intake conversations and ongoing assessment of needs and strengths
- Create case plans that reflect each person’s story, priorities and hopes for the future
- Walk alongside participants as they attend appointments, access services and reconnect with community
- Keep clear, respectful records that help ensure continuity of care
- Notice when circumstances shift and respond with flexibility and care
- Work in a culturally respectful way, especially when supporting Aboriginal men and those for whom English is not a first language
What you will bring
- Certificate IV in Community Services (or related qualification)
- Experience supporting people in a social services environment
- Case management skills grounded in empathy, structure and good judgement
- Confidence working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Understanding of local Aboriginal communities and culture
- An NT Driver’s Licence
- NT Working with children check
What we offer
- $51.37 – $55.28 hourly + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties, allowances, NFP salary packaging
- SCHADS Level 4 – Above Award conditions (up to 10%)
