Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Casual Cook to join our busy new organic wholefoods café. In this role, you will prepare nutritious dishes that celebrate fresh, wholesome ingredients. Key Responsibilities
- Wholefood Preparation: Prepare raw ingredients, house-made dressings, and organic produce from scratch daily.
- Meal Service: heat and serve vibrant, nutritious dishes quickly and accurately during peak rushes.
- Dietary Adaptability: Follow strict recipes to safely accommodate gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and allergen-specific orders.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food presentation, ensuring every order looks fresh, colorful, and appetizing.
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Food Safety Certification: Must hold a valid .
- Culinary Experience: Proven experience cooking in a fast-paced café or commercial kitchen environment.
- Wholefoods Passion: Strong understanding of organic ingredients, superfoods, and health-focused cooking techniques.
- Fast-Paced Efficiency: Ability to stay calm, organized, and fast under pressure during heavy service periods.

- Casual Loading: Earn casual base rates starting from $33.85 to $36.81 per hour (dependent on classification/experience level) plus applicable weekend penalty rates.
