A well-established dental clinic located in Nundahis looking for an experienced Casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a casual position offering approximately 2–3+ days per week, with some flexibility required for possible late-night and weekend shifts. While the role will commence on a casual basis, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent position in the future.
Our clinic is conveniently located close to train stations and bus stops for an easy commute. We have a wonderful patient community and a stable, friendly team, working alongside supportive and experienced dentists.
We are ideally looking for someone who sees dental assisting as a valued and ongoing career, takes pride in their work and is interested in becoming along-term member of the practice.
About the Role
You will work across both dental assisting and reception, including:
- Chairside assisting across general dental procedures
- Surgery set-up and changeover
- Sterilisation and infection-control procedures
- Instrument cleaning, packaging and sterilisation
- Patient reception and appointment management
- Telephone enquiries and general front-desk duties
- Supporting the dentists and team with the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
About You We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have previous dental assisting experience – this is not an entry-level position
- Are confident with sterilisation,
infection-control and surgery routines
- Have experience with dental reception and front-desk duties
- Take genuine pride in being a Dental Assistant and in providing a high standard of patient care
- Are looking for a secure, ongoing position and would like to become part of a practice long term
- Are reliable, organised and attentive to detail
- Communicate warmly and professionally with patients
- Work well within a supportive team environment
- Are available approximately 2–3+ days per week, including the possibility of late nights and weekend shifts
Experience with D4W or D4Web is highly regarded.
Pay
$36.39–$38.29 per hour casual, depending on qualifications, classification and relevant dental industry experience. Applicable penalty rates apply where required.
