Casual Medical Receptionist – GP Medical Centre

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and professional Casual Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming GP medical centre.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

- Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
- Answering and managing phone calls and enquiries
- Booking and managing patient appointments
- Processing payments and Medicare claims
- Updating and maintaining patient records
- Liaising with doctors, nurses and other practice staff
- General administration and reception duties
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy

About You We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised,



reliable and able to multitask
- Is confident using computers and practice management software
- Can work calmly and professionally in a busy setting
- Has a friendly and compassionate approach to patients
- Previous medical reception experience is preferred but not essential
- Availability to work flexible casual shifts is desirable
