Hospital Pharmacist – Full Time (Permanent)

We're currently seeking a full-time pharmacist to join our team at HPS Darlinghurst, supporting pharmacy services at St Vincent's Private Hospital, a 310-bed tertiary hospital specialising in Cardiac Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and Young Adult Mental Health, HPS Darlinghurst also provides services to our Public Hospital partners.

About the Role

n

As a Hospital Pharmacist, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Dispensing and supplying medications in line with legal and professional standards
n
- Participating in clinical ward rounds
n
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
n
- Supporting oncology and clinical trial pharmacy services (training provided)
n

n

This role involves working across a 76-hour fortnight, including 1–2 weekend shifts per month.

n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
n
- Preferable 2 years' experience in pharmacy practice (not mandatory)
n
- Strong knowledge of PBS and dispensary workflows
n
- Excellent communication,



customer service, and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
n
- Recent hospital experience is preferred but not required
n
