We’re partnering with a leading Australian retailer in the home and lifestyle spaceto bring on aRegional Retail Manager to lead a growing multi-state portfolio across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
You’ll have a seat at the table, the opportunity to bring forward new ideas and the autonomy to make a visible impact across a large and established retail network.
Leading a team of eight direct reports across Area Management and Visual Merchandising, you’ll be responsible for creating a high-performing, customer-led region that delivers sustainable commercial growth while continuing to build leadership capability across the network.
About the role:
- Take full ownership of regional performance, including sales, productivity, customer outcomes, revenue and controllable costs, with significant P&L; accountability.
- You’ll take ownership of the commercial, operational and people performance of 50+ stores across VIC, SA and TAS.
- Lead, coach and develop a senior retail leadership team across Area Management, Visual Merchandising and Store Management.
- Build strong succession pipelines and create a culture where high performance and genuine people leadership go hand in hand.
- Use data, insights and commercial reporting to identify opportunities and make fast, informed decisions.
- Partner closely with Operations, Finance, People & Culture, Risk, Planning, Property and Visual Merchandising to deliver business priorities.
- Lead teams successfully through periods of growth and change, anticipating challenges and keeping people aligned and engaged.
- Embed a strong safety-first culture across a geographically dispersed retail network.
- Regularly travel throughout VIC, SA and TAS to remain connected to stores, leaders and customers.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an established senior multi-site retail leader who has operated at scale and understands what it takes to drive results through other leaders.
About you:
- Proven experience in a Regional, State or senior multi-site retail leadership role, ideally within a high-volume retail environment.
- Experience managing a large, geographically dispersed store network across multiple states or regions.
- Strong commercial capability with full P&L; ownership and a demonstrated track record of improving sales, productivity and profitability.
- Experience leading and developing senior retail leaders, including Area and Store Managers.
- The ability to build high-performing teams while maintaining a leadership style grounded in authenticity, care and accountability.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, compliance, risk and workforce performance.
- A commercial understanding of visual merchandising and its impact on conversion, customer experience and brand.
- Confidence working with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong digital and data literacy with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams through transformation and change.
- The resilience, energy and flexibility required to lead a large multi-state portfolio.
