Security Officer at Nexar Resource Solutions Pty Ltd in Melbourne, VIC, AU.

We're looking for licensed security guards to join our growing team.

n

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

n

- Ability to support with 12-30+ hours per week across 4-to-7-day roster.
n
- Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary
n
- MUST wear PPE AT ALL TIMES
n
- Be able to verbally de-escalate any customer aggression and keep staff safe.
n
- Must be comfortable stepping in verbally to assist staff if any aggression.
n
- Adaptable to any situations that arise.
n
- Follow direction of Security Team Leaders at all times.
n

You will have:

n
- Superior customer and client service skills
n
- Good written and verbal communication
n
- Reporting ability to supervisor
n
- Security experience
n
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a team-oriented way.
n
- Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
n




- Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding and restraining persons.
n
- Current First Aid certificate
n
- Ability to attain a Working with Children Check
n
- Ability to travel to different locations for work.
n
- Intermediate computer skills.
n

The successful candidate must have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster.

n

Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:

n
- Certificate II in Security Operations
n
- Valid Security License \& First Aid Certificate
n
- Ability to work day shift and Night shift when required
n
- Willing to travel to cover multiple locations
n
- Ability to be responsive for ADHOC coverage
n
- Ability to travel without restrictions and own means of transportation
n

Job Type: Part-time

n

Pay: $28.42 – $59.50 per hour

n

Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)

n

Work Location: In person
