Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established project delivery team responsible for delivering building construction, maintenance and upgrade works across a diverse portfolio.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across tendering, costing and project preparation, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and commercial outcomes. You will play a key role in preparing estimates, quotations and trade packages for a variety of building projects while working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve quality outcomes.

About the Role
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Prepare accurate and timely tenders, estimates and quotations for building projects
n
- Develop detailed material take-offs, cost breakdowns and construction programs
n
- Produce high-quality tender documentation aligned with client and organisational requirements
n
- Utilise estimating software and systems to ensure consistency, efficiency and best practice
n
- Prepare project trade packages and supporting commercial documentation
n
- Assist with costing analysis, contract administration and contract cost management activities
n
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders to obtain pricing and technical information
n
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement outcomes
n
- Ensure estimating activities comply with relevant standards, policies and industry requirements
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating and commercial processes
n
n
About You
n
You are a commercially minded construction professional with previous estimating experience and the ability to deliver accurate pricing across building works. You are organised, detail-focused and confident working with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines and achieve strong project outcomes.

You will bring:

- Previous estimating experience within construction or building projects
n
- Strong understanding of tender preparation, costing and quotation processes
n
- Experience preparing material take-offs and project cost estimates
n
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
n
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
n
- Current Driver Licence
n
- Experience working within building, construction or maintenance environments
n
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office systems
n
- Experience within Government or large-scale project environments will be highly regarded
n
