At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for a dedicated Cardiac Physiologist Grade 2 to join our Cardiology team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic cardiac services while working in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
About the Prospect
As a Cardiac Physiologist Grade 2, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of cardiac diagnostic tests and procedures while ensuring a positive patient experience. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to accurate diagnosis, patient-centred care, and continuous service improvement.
This position plays a key role in supporting quality cardiac care and improving patient outcomes. In this role you will:
- Perform and assist with echocardiography procedures including TTE, TOE, and stress echocardiograms.
- Conduct additional cardiac investigations such as ECGs, Holter monitoring, exercise stress ECGs, and device interrogations (where trained).
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and data entry within EMR and cardiology reporting systems
- Participate in quality improvement activities and provide excellent customer service.
- Support the education and supervision of staff within the Cardiology Department.
- Work collaboratively while maintaining compliance with NSW Health, CCLHD, and ASAR accreditation requirements.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in cardiac diagnostic investigations.
- Demonstrated skills in echocardiography, with additional cardiac diagnostic competencies desirable.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining ASAR accreditation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a busy environment.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to CCLHD values and quality patient care.
