Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to venue standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; regulations
- Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Support the Head Chef (if applicable) with menu development and specials
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekend as required
Job Type: Casual Pay: From $32.00 per hour
