What You’ll Tackle Daily In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and ensuring your section runs smoothly during preparation and service. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

- Run and manage your designated section during preparation and service
- Prepare and cook dishes consistently to Firebird standards
- Maintain excellent mise en place and readiness for busy services
- Support food safety, hygiene standards and stock rotation practices
- Train and mentor junior chefs and apprentices

reliable and team-oriented chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding food. If this sounds like you, let’s talk!

- 1-2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to step up
- Solid understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Experience with wok or wood-fire grills are preferred
- Ability to manage a section independently during busy service periods
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in high-volume hospitality environments
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates
- Passion for food, flavour and continuous learning
