About the role

Epping RSL is seeking an experienced and motivated chef to become a key part of our friendly kitchen team. Great opportunity to work in a busy bistro and function environment where quality, teamwork and growth are valued.

Key responsibilities

- Work closely with our Sous Chef and Head Chef

- Prepare, cook and present a' la carte dishes for the RSL

- Create dishes that cater to dietary needs and food allergies

- Bring creative ideas to our menu and specials

What we are looking for

- Previous experience working as a chef

- Experience in cooking a variety of bistro and contemporary meals

- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen

- Strong knowledge and understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

- Good Preparation and organisation skills

- Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work environment

- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

- Must be available weekends and nights
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a great kitchen culture

Previous kitchen experience is essential.
