Your curiosity, adaptability and commitment to fostering a positive team agile will be the driving force behind achieving common goals.

When completing your application, please specify whether your preference is York St (including the pop-up site) or Hurstville.

A day in the role will see you:

- Lead the quality,

safety and operational performance of blood donation and blood products.
- Coach and develop the team to drive continuous improvement across key service performance indicators (KPIs).
- Foster a safe environment where employees feel cared for, can communicate openly, share ideas and continue to learn.
- Effectively roster employees to meet donor attendance, skill mix and operational requirements.
- Be a great change leader, ensuring you explain the “why” and support your team through change.
- Engage and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Marketing and Regional Partnerships, to optimise donor panels and engagement.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

- Demonstrated experience managing medium-large sized teams in an operationally driven, customer-focused or clinical environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches, with the ability to lead through change.
- Motivation to lead and inspire a team to reach shared goals and key performance indicators.
- Operationally strong and disciplined, with the ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.
- Ability to foster and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- A passion for coaching people,

developing skills within your team and identifying talent.
- Positive in nature, with the ability to empathise with donors and team members.
- Strong Excel knowledge, with the ability to dissect and interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Highly committed to safety and quality.
- Clinical experience is an advantage but not essential.
