AtSPL, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our laundry production operations and drive safety, quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes across the site.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee day-to-day production activities, develop high-performing teams, and continuously improve operational performance. You will work closely with operational leaders, maintenance teams, customer-facing teams, and key stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading production operations while ensuring compliance, productivity, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

What You'll Do

- Lead, coach and develop production teams to create a safe, engaged and high-performing workplace.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and operational procedures.
- Oversee daily production operations to consistently deliver quality, productivity and customer service outcomes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and optimise resources.
- Manage production planning and workforce allocation to meet customer demand and operational targets.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Manage operational performance, budgets, contractors and suppliers to support business objectives and service excellence.

What You'll Bring

- Proven experience leading and developing teams within a production, manufacturing,



processing or operational environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and build high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success improving productivity, efficiency, quality and service outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and a commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience managing operational performance, budgets and resource planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, with OH&S;, First Aid or High-Risk Licences considered advantageous.
