Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire.

Salary / Benefits: £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits

An independent and skilled Water Hygiene / Legionella management company are now seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor. Working with an established and diligent team you will cover Commercial, Industrial, Local Authority and Leisure sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. The successful candidate will receive excellent overtime rates, a generous holiday allowance, and a company pension scheme. You must be willing to travel in line with company/client requirements.

Consideration will be given to candidates from Bedford, Wellingborough, Kettering, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Brackley, Bletchley, Corby, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Market Harborough, Leicester, Peterborough, Warwick, Solihull, Birmingham, West Bromwich.

Experience & Qualifications

n

n
- Must hold an industry‐recognised qualification, e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
n




- Have experience working for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company, carrying out risk assessments.
n
- Exceptional knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
n
- Communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues of all levels.
n
- Excellent time‐management skills, able to organise workload in line with company/client requirements.

The Role

n

- Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold‐water systems at a varied site base.
n
- Carry out work in line with site‐specific schematic drawings.
n
- Produce detailed legionella reports based on site findings.
n
- Create legionella management plans based on site findings and ensure that actions are implemented.
n
- Work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
