We are seeking to add an experienced Field Service Supervisor with HVAC/ Thermal expertise to our high performing Sydney Team. This role is for Field Supervisor - Thermal, NSW at Vertiv.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist all stakeholders with providing quotes for small works, time and materials (T&M;), installations, and start-ups.
n
- Support and mentor field personnel in the execution of their normal activities.
n
- Prepare and provide reports as requested by management.
n
- Ensure timesheets are entered in the system correctly.
n
- Provide input into training needs of the team.
n
- Assist the supervisors to coordinate and schedule the general duties of Thermal Customer Engineers and subcontractors.
n
- Assist the supervisors to ensure Customer Engineers are equipped with calibrated tools, PPE, and appropriate documentation.
n
- Respond to customer requests for minor quotations or service advice within a timely manner.
n




- Assist the supervisors to complete follow-ups generated by Customer Engineers.
n
- Assist the supervisors and Customer Engineers with complex technical problems.
n
- Be part of the after-hours call-out roster where possible.
n
- Carry out Customer Engineer quality audits as required by company policy.
n
- Act as a Service Project Manager on large project startups or maintenance.
n
- Be prepared to undertake company development training programs.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Restricted Electrical Licence
n
- Technical knowledge - data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial or similar industries (highly regarded)
n
- Proven track record within the Air Conditioning or other precision cooling industry as a service technician
n
- Thermal controls & Networking knowledge
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
n
