Workplace Pedestrian Safety PTY Ltd – Boronia VIC

This role will involve fabrication work in a workshop environment, working from plans and following directions to complete quality work safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate steel components including stairs, balustrades, handrails, guardrails, and custom safety solutions.
- Interpret and work from work orders, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and assembly to a high standard.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish meet company expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and general workshop duties as required.

We are looking for a reliable and skilled tradesperson with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. You take pride in your work, can work both independently and as part of a team, and consistently follow safe work practices.





You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment and adaptable to a variety of fabrication tasks.

Qualifications & experience

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience in steel fabrication within a workshop workplace.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience fabricating stairs, handrails, and balustrades (highly regarded).
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
- Driver's license (required), Forklift licence (preferred), & MR truck license (preferred).
- An understanding of workplace health and safety practices (desirable).
