TAS WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Permanent Part Time (during school terms only)

n

Green Point Christian College is seeking a dedicated TAS Workshop Assistantto support the effective daily operation of our TAS facilities.

n

Reporting to theHead of TASand through to the Principal, you will:

n

· Ensure TAS rooms are resourced, stocked, clean, and safe for practical classes.

n

· Maintain and monitor machinery, tools, and equipment, organising repairs as required.

n

· Assist teachers and students during practical lessons and department events.

n

· Manage stock levels, first aid kits, and WHS inspection reports.

n

· Troubleshoot technology and liaise with property/IT teams where needed.

n

· Support the preparation of school TAS events and displays (eg TAS Expos, Major Design Projects).

n





The successful applicant should be a proactive, reliable team player with strong practical and organisational skills and should bring:

- Experience in working with and maintaining tools, machinery, or workshop facilities.
n
- Strong problem-solving and initiative, particularly with technology and equipment.
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
- A commitment to safety, student support.
n
