We are seeking a high- performing Business Services Senior Accountant to join a well established accounting practice based in Norwest.

Qualifications & experience

- Be CA / CPA qualified (or nearing completion of the program)
- 5+ years' experience working in business services in an accounting firm
- Experience with clients across a variety of entity-types and industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Client focused with solid commitment to quality service and client relationships
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting and financial systems like MYOB AO, XERO and CLASS
- Excellent technical tax ability
- Be able to work independently

Tasks & responsibilities

- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of entities including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Prepare clear and concise work papers
- Preparing FBT, BASs and IASs
- Perform tax planning for clients
- Liaise with clients, ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies
