Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading independent Australian law firm to recruit an Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Sydney.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on large-scale real estate transactions for leading institutional investors, real estate funds, developers and multinational corporations. You will gain exposure to sophisticated, cross-jurisdictional transactions across a diverse range of asset classes, while working within a cooperative and high-performing national team.

The Role
n
You will advise on a broad range of real estate matters, including:
n
n
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
n
- Large-scale property and capital transactions
n
- Due diligence investigations and reporting
n
- Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, leases and agreements for lease
n
- PEXA settlements and transaction management
n
- Strategic advice on complex real estate transactions
n
- Advising clients across office, industrial, logistics, retail, agribusiness, data centres and other major asset classes
n
n
The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work on some of Australia's most complex real estate transactions.
n
About You
n
You will have:
n
n
- 2+ years' post-admission experience in Real Estate law gained within private practice
n
- Strong experience in property transactions and due diligence
n
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial property documents
n
- Familiarity with PEXA, Revenue NSW and NSW Land Registry Services
n
- Strong commercial judgement and excellent stakeholder management skills
n
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in building a long-term career in commercial real estate
