Family Health Care Mackay Ooralea has an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Medical Receptionist to join our exceptional team on a Full Time basis.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone.
n
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.
n
- Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
n
- General administration and daily office duties
n
- Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
n

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role is preferred but not required
n
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task,



and prioritise
n
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
n
- Qualified, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
n
- High level of computer literacy
n
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
n
- Available Monday to Friday (our clinic is open between 8am-5pm)
n
- GP experience and experience with Best Practice software will be preferred but is not mandatory
n
