We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a large High Rise Residential Developer Builder to oversee basement works on a major project in Southern Sydney. As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be the link between management and the crew, driving productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction crew.
n
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
n
- Assist in scheduling tasks and managing work flow on-site.
n
- Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and teamwork.
n
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to achieve project milestones.
n
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Proven experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within high‐rise residential construction.
n




- Ability to work under your own initiative.
n
- Trade background and Cert 3 in carpentry desirable.
n
- Robust knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
n
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
n
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
n
- Proficient in problem‐solving and decision‐making under pressure.
n
- Relevant certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
