About the Role

n

Primo Foods are currently seeking experienced hygiene operatives to join our business on a full time basis in Wacol, Brisbane. We are looking for people to join our team in an entry level hygiene operative position with career progression available for the right candidates.

n

As a hygiene operator you will be responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved daily before production start-up, whilst ensuring safe work practices are adhered to when using industrial cleaning equipment.

n

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

n

n
- Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production line equipment to set SOPs.
n
- Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task as per the SOPs.
n
- To work in a manner that promotes safe working practices for yourself and your colleagues.
n
- Ensure that all PPE is worn and used at all times and all defects are reported to the Hygiene Supervisors.
n

About you

n

n
- Available to work Monday to Friday (afternoon and night shifts)
n
- Experience within manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred
n
- Be able to work with raw meat, specifically Pork products
n
- Flexible, motivated and keen to learn
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
